A sneaker for the whole day

Some shoes are chosen for how they look and some for how far they carry you. This one belongs to the second group: the midsole is softly cushioned, the build stays flexible under the foot, and the lacing can be set once and then trusted.

Design Highlights

The laces run through a simple eyelet line and can be pulled as firm or as loose as the day asks, which gives the foot a secure seat without pressing across the instep. The upper stays low and plain, so the shoe disappears into an outfit instead of competing with it. The sole carries a fine tread that holds on a smooth floor and on wet pavement alike, and the cushioning sits under the whole foot rather than only at the heel, which keeps the step steady from the first hour to the last. The lining stays soft against the foot through a long walk.

How to Style It

With straight jeans and a shirt it reads as the plain shoe for a working day. Against wide trousers and a long coat it stays quiet and grounded. Keep the clothes simple so the shoe has nothing to answer to, and wear it with a plain sock in the same tone.
