A piece that closes at the top and falls wide below

The bib sits across the chest and is held by two straps that adjust in length. The fabric is corduroy with a floral pattern woven into it, and the legs fall wide and straight to the floor. Two large pockets sit at the sides, at the height a hand falls.

Design Highlights

The straps run over the shoulder and adjust across the buttons, so the bib can be set to the length that sits right on the chest rather than pulling at the shoulder. The corduroy carries a fine rib under the floral pattern, which gives the print some depth instead of a flat surface. Two deep pockets sit at the side at hand height, and the wide leg falls straight from the hip, which keeps the line long rather than narrowing at the knee.

How to Style It

Over a plain long sleeve and a flat shoe it reads easy for a weekend. With a knit underneath and a short boot it turns warmer for a cool day. Keep what sits under the bib simple so the print stays the only pattern, and let the wide leg set the proportion of the look.
