An ankle boot that carries the line of the leg

This boot sits close to the foot and tapers toward the front, which keeps the line of the leg running downward instead of stopping at the ankle. The heel is built as a block and holds the stance steady, and a zip at the back makes the boot easy to put on without breaking the shape.

Design Highlights

The shaft ends at the foot and is slightly cut away at the front, so the ankle stays free to move. The toe is narrow and softly shaped, which keeps the outline tidy under a trouser. The block heel is set under the middle of the foot rather than the very back, which is what makes the stance feel solid through a long day. The surface is smooth and matte, so the boot reads plain beside anything it is worn with.

How to Style It

Over a narrow jean or a knit tight it reads plain and closed for a working morning. With a midi skirt and a fine knit it turns softer for the evening. Keep the hem short enough to meet the boot cleanly, and let the narrow toe be the sharpest line in the look.

An ankle boot for the days that ask for a steady step.
