A soft sole that carries you through the day

Some shoes are made to be looked at and some are made to be walked in. This sneaker belongs to the second group: low cut, softly cushioned and built around a thick midsole that takes the edge off a long pavement.

Design Highlights

The upper is built from smooth panels that overlap at the toe, the sides and the heel, which gives the shoe a quiet structure instead of a flat surface. A curved line runs from the toe back into the heel and lengthens the look of the foot. Fine perforations are set evenly across the upper, letting air move and giving the plain body some texture. The toe is rounded and lifted slightly, and the collar closes low and narrow across the instep. Underneath, the tread is kept fine, so it grips a smooth floor without looking heavy. The lining stays soft against the foot from morning until the walk home.

How to Style It

With a wide trouser and a long coat it carries you comfortably through a working day. Against jeans and a coarse knit it turns into an easy weekend shoe. Keep the hem short enough to show the ankle, and let the chunky sole set the proportion of the look.

A shoe for long walks and a steady step.
