A light layer for the mornings that turn warm

Cool mornings and warm afternoons ask for a layer you can put on and forget about. This jacket keeps the weight light and the line neat, with a collar and a button front that make it read tidy rather than sporty.

Design Highlights

Fine quilting runs across the body in narrow channels, which holds warmth inside and keeps the surface flat instead of bulky. The collar wraps the neck cleanly and gives the front a classic finish, while the button placket stays simple and closes without fuss. Edges are bound neatly so the silhouette holds at the front and the hem. The cut stays close to the body and moves with the shoulders rather than pulling across them.

How to Style It

Over a knit and straight jeans it becomes the layer you reach for on the way out. With a tailored trouser and a fine shirt it reads smart enough for a workday morning. Keep what sits underneath light so the quilting stays flat, and let the collar stand on its own instead of adding a scarf. Because the surface stays flat, it also layers under a heavier coat without adding a second bulk.

A light jacket that earns its place by the door from early autumn to late spring.
