A sweater with pearls at the sleeve

The turtleneck sits high and closes at the throat. The sleeves are cut wide and finish in a cuff with pearl buttons. The knit is smooth and lies softly against the body, and the hem is ribbed.

Design Highlights

The collar reaches to the chin and can be folded over, which closes off the upper part of the body and holds the warmth where it matters most. The sleeves are cut wide through the arm and gather into a narrow cuff, so the volume stays soft instead of pressing at the elbow. Pearl buttons sit along that cuff and catch light as the arm moves, which gives the plain knit its only detail. The body is knitted smooth and the hem is ribbed, so the edges hold their shape rather than curling with wear.

How to Style It

With straight trousers and a low heel it reads clean for the office. Against a midi skirt and a long coat it turns softer for the evening. Keep the rest of the outfit plain so the pearls at the cuff stay the one detail in the look. A narrow belt over the waist keeps the proportion clean.

A turtleneck that stays simple and gives the sleeve one quiet detail.
